Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is an optical signal acquisition and processing method. It is an ‘optical ultrasound’, imaging reflections from within tissue to provide cross-sectional images. Rather than sound or radio frequency, OCT fabricates using a 2 µm complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) process, which is used to demonstrate full-field OCT.
